Women’s Summit Scheduled for April 4

Nearly a dozen local organizations are teaming together to host a gathering for Chautauqua County women on April 4 from 4-6 p.m. at Moon Brook Country Club.

Host organizations include The Coalition of Chautauqua County Women and Girls, the YWCA of Jamestown, YWCA of Westfield, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County, AAUW of Jamestown, Zonta Club of Jamestown, League of Women Voters, Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, Jamestown Community College and SUNY Fredonia.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network, learn about vital women’s organizations in our community and hear from keynote speaker Lisa Marsh Ryerson.

Ryerson is the president of AARP Foundation, the charitable affiliate of AARP. An inspirational leader, Ryerson is the former president and CEO of Wells College, located in Aurora, NY. A native of Jamestown, she is proud to return to her hometown to address women in this community.

The cost to attend the event is $10 and tickets can be purchased online at cccwomen.org.

JCC and SUNY students are free with a student ID thanks to funding from the WNY Women’s Foundation. For more information, please contact any of the hosting organizations.
